A Bachelor in Architecture from Jadavpur University, Kolkata (India) she shifted focus to IT with a Masters in IT from IIEST, Howrah (India). Hired from campus by Indian IT Giant Tata Consultancy Services she worked for nearly 11 years in the same company.

While working in IT she gained immense experience in technologies related to IBM mainframes like CICS, DB2, COBOL and different other fields with different international customers like Hallmark Cards, GE Money (UK) etc. Later on she was shifted to project management and from there to quality and risk management of multiple portfolios. With the degrading work environment in Indian IT companies she left her job with an intention to do something innovative and research based.

She spent a brief stint in the Department of Computer Science in Jadavpur University, Kolkata to pursue a formal PhD program. However, she did not find the environment suitable for proper research and cancelled her PhD registration thereafter for personal reasons.

From 2016 she became the first active member of this organisation founded by Prof. Dipak Ghosh under whose guidance she ultimately started enjoying serious research work which had resulted in a number of publications in high impact journals as well as productisation of different research concepts based on sound signal analysis. Her works also came in different newscasts for their immense possibilities.

Apart from being a dutiful mother, she enjoys listening to Hindi Movie songs and cooking for all the family members
